WCS Celebration of Year of the Sheep

At WCS’s Prospect Park Zoo on Feb 21&22
Activities include:
Meet the Sheep- Meet and greets with the Zoo’s Cotswold and Jacob’s four horned sheep will take place in celebration of the Year of the Sheep.(12:30 and 2:30 PM)
Puppet Show- Chinese heater Works will present “Hao Bang Ah, Sheep!”, a sheep themed puppet show (1 and 3 PM)
Calligraphy- Professional artists will discuss the importance of calligraphy in Chinese and other Asian cultures, and show visitors how to say their names in Chinese. (11:30 AM and 2 PM)
WCS China: A Photo Gallery– WCS works extensively throughout China to protect local wildlife and habitats. This new gallery will be a photographic look at some of WCS China’s major projects throughout the years.
Crafts- Paper lantern and red money envelope crafting are part of the weekend’s festivities. (11 AM-4 PM)
