Chuggington comes to Kingston
June 23, 2015 - June 28, 2015
ChuggingtonThe Catskill Mountain Railroad will host an immersive event inspired by the popular children’s television show Chuggington. The event, Chuggington: A Traintastic Adventure!, brings the show to life as patrons are immersed into the world of Chuggington. Trainees will ride aboard the Catskill Mountain RR’s train where they learn and sing Chuggington songs on “Hanzo’s Passenger Run”. Trainees are brought back to the station for The Roundhouse show with characters Eddie and Lori. It quickly grows into a fun, lively, interactive event, involving Eddie, Lori, and life-size puppets of Koko, Brewster, and Wilson. There will be three challenge activities; speed, building and safety. These are scenario-based and represent Chuggington’s main themes and characters, including Koko, Brewster, and Wilson. The challenges allow Trainees to practice important life skills such as teamwork, safety, and leadership as they work hard to become the best Trainee they can be. Other activities include live interactive children’s music, face painting, temporary tattoos, bouncy house, a food court, Operation Lifesaver with the Amtrak Police and other activities. Don’t forget to bring your camera! ALL ABOARD!
The tickets include admission for the many activities, challenges, stage show, and your scheduled train ride. You can participate in the activities as long as you’d like. There is no difference between PEAK and regular tickets except for price. Your scheduled train ride will be approximately 30-40 minutes. There will be two indoor passenger coaches and two outdoor covered flat cars modified with a wooden deck, canopy, and railings. There is seating on benches, but most people prefer to stand at the railings and take in more of the views. The coach 2962 is 2x and 4x seating, while 2940 is a mix of 2x, 3x, 4x, and 6x seating. Thanks for your interest in the Catskill Mountain Railroad!
